Equine Physiotherapy in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Berkshire

Introduction
Animal physiotherapy involves the assessment of joints, muscles and the neural system to determine any dysfunction that needs resolving. Often these dysfunctions can lead to abnormal biomechanics which can result in pain and discomfort leading to behavioural changes or problems. In horses these can include rearing, bucking, refusing to go forward, or performance problems. It may also cause changes in temperament, or in dogs aggression.
Your physiotherapist will use their assessment to ascertain the cause of the problem, and give you a plan of treatment and rehabilitation to return the animal back to full optimal function and comfort.
